Third-generation growers. Two facilities. 83 acres.
Embedded with the values of sustainability and holistic practice, Maxiflora is led by third generation flower growers originating from Holland. The van der Zwet family are from Lisse — the home of the iconic Tulip Festival. Since arriving in Australia in 1956, they have been growing their legacy as Australia's leading flower producers. Officially established in 1986 by Michael van der Zwet, Maxiflora is a family-orientated business with Carly and Michael at the helm, and their three sons Angus, Oscar and Hunter leading the new generation.
At its heart, Maxiflora remains rooted in the idyllic landscape of Phillip Island — fifty-five acres of fertile coastal land where premium floral species are sustainably grown, nurtured and harvested year round. This founding property continues to be the soul of the business, producing the exceptional quality that has defined the Maxiflora name for nearly four decades. Looking ahead, Maxiflora is proud to announce a significant expansion with the development of a new head office and state-of-the-art growing facility in Officer, Victoria.
